We provided a comprehensive cardiovascular disease risk reduction program in multiple countries (including Angola, Nigeria, Thailand, the Philippines, Central and South America and the U.S.) and languages for a Fortune 10 company. Core services included our health risk assessment and online and telephone lifestyle health coaching program. The project required a total review and re-write/translation of all educational materials to ensure appropriateness for various cultures. In some countries, INTERVENT’s U.S.-based coaches provided the lifestyle management program. In others, we trained in-country coaches to provide coaching using our materials, platform and protocols. Customized incentive plans were developed. A comprehensive evaluation of clinical outcomes and participant satisfaction indicated extremely positive results across all countries and business sectors.
INTERVENT trainers developed a web-based training service for a client in Australia that spanned three months. INTERVENT’s trainers were up late at night on the East coast to accommodate the time difference for the 18 coach participants near Perth, Australia. With much attention to planning and organization, the training was delivered in a successful manner. Training materials were tailored to the client’s specific needs and were delivered across a range of dynamic and effective study guides, presentations, case studies, role plays and small group activities. At the conclusion of the training, participants completed a written competency exam and received a certificate from INTERVENT. This and other U.S.-based trainings for health coaches caused INTERVENT to apply to be recognized by the International Consortium for Health & Wellness Coaching as a training and education organization.
The INTERVENT team brings together relevant experience in health promotion, disease prevention and global health management.
As individuals, they bring skills and experience from the fields of medicine, science, education, business and technology. They were one of the first groups to create a comprehensive web-based management and tracking system to support evidence-based health behavior change programs. Together they have compiled an impressive list of work products and publications.
We're looking for bright, compassionate and motivated people to serve our diverse client groups throughout the U.S. and globally. We are eager to welcome new people onto our team and help them grow and develop professionally. Some of our team members can work from home locations and enjoy flexible schedules.
